A thank you note not only lets the gift giver know that you received their gift, but also lets them know that you appreciate their thoughtfulness.

Order your thank you notes when you order your invitations. That way you can begin to write your thank you notes as the gifts come in.

  Although you technically have a year to send out your wedding thank you notes, it is best to send them as soon as possible.  They should be sent out no later than a month after you arrive home from your honeymoon.

A great time to write your thank you notes is when you are stuck in the airport or on the plane traveling to your honeymoon destination.  You have idle time and it will be one more thing to check off your list once you return home. 

Another great idea is to split the thank you writing task in half.  You write your thank you notes to your friends and family and have your husband write the thank you notes to his family and friends.  After all, the gifts are for both of you to enjoy!
