Wedding Registry

Jot down things that you really need and take this list with you when you register.  It is easy to become distracted and overwhelmed while registering.

Request items that you will actually use and that you have room for.  If you will never break out the formal china, don’t register for it.

Register for gifts with a variety of price ranges.  Think about the monetary value amount that you normally spend on wedding and shower gifts and keep that in mind as you walk down the aisles and scan items into your registry wish list.  Go for some big ticket items, but don’t let it consume your entire registry list.

Register at stores that are nationwide so that out of town guests have access to the same name brand stores.

You may want to check your wedding registry after your showers to make sure that there are still enough items on your registry for wedding gifts to be purchased.

Ask a close friend or relative to be in charge of collecting the gifts that are brought to your wedding.  You may also want to ask that they collect your wedding bouquet and the top tier of your wedding cake.
